Food in London was not nearly as bad as originally thought. I had some authentic British food including a weird pork meat thing that was a cross between bacon and ham. Very interesting. On top of that, chips (fries) were everywhere. I would be willing to bet that Londoners consume more potatoes per capita than any other culture. Absolutely amazing but I like chips so it was cool.

Can't say enough about the pints in London. Cask ales were everywhere and reasonably priced and we consumed many over the week. An interesting fact that I learned was that Londoners LOVE Budweiser and Corona. Not something I would expect in London.
